Tulip Orange Princess 10-pack

Award-winning Tulip ‘Orange Princess’ is a lovely peony-flowered tulip featuring light nasturtium-orange petals, flushed with reddish-purple and glazed lightly in warm pink. Its chubby bowl-shaped flowers are also tipped with green on the outer petals. Ravishing! As an added bonus, this tulip is fragrant. Blooming in mid-late spring, this acclaimed member of the Double Late Tulips group was granted the prestigious Award of Garden Merit twice!

• Growing up to 12-14 inches tall (30 – 35 cm), this tulip creates dazzling harmonies with other flowering bulbs.
• Since the flowers can be damaged in extreme weather conditions (rain and wind), it is advisable to plant them in a sheltered location.
• Performs best in full sun in rich, fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Prefers areas with cool winters and warm dry summers.
• Easy to grow, this tulip is a welcomed addition to beds, borders, and containers. For best visual impact, plant in groups (at least 10 to 15 bulbs) or mixed with any other flowering bulbs. Excellent as cut flowers!
